Steps to become an approved Youthville adoptive home

1. Informational meeting
2. Be assigned a recruiter
3. Attend PS-MAPP course
4. Choose a track - adopt only or foster to adopt
5. Assigned a worker
6. Complete an adoption packet
7. Adoption homestudy completed (Adopt Only)

Steps to adopt a child once approved as a Youthville adoptive home

1. Adoption homestudy completed
2. Best interest staffing
3. File read
4. Consultations with therapist and resource parents
5. Introduction to child
6. Transition plan written (visits and move date)
7. Subsidy information
8. Consent obtained from SRS
9. Attorney packet completed
10. Finalization
