There are more than 850 Kansas children awaiting adoption; each hoping to find a family who can share their birthday, holidays and other special life moments.
For more than 100 years, Youthville Family Consultation Services has helped thousands of families get counseling by providing licensed clinicians who offer therapeutic services to anyone age three to adult.
Everyday, there are 1,400 foster children cared for by Youthville staff who actively recruit, support, train and license compassionate foster families. Each foster child receives individualized care through permanency services, clinical services, aftercare, and life skills programs.
Hundreds of children diagnosed with various disorders have been helped by the agency's two 24-hour psychiatric residential treatment facilities, featuring a therapeutic animal program in Dodge City and expressive arts program in Newton.
You'll hear from foster kids, adoptive parents, therapists and staff why getting involved is so important in helping give children back their childhood.
