Michelle Scheu, LSCSW Director of Youthville Family Consultation Service Michelle is the Director of Youthville Family Consultation Service and a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker. She earned a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Kansas and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Wichita State University. She oversees the day-to-day operations of the Youthville Family Consultation Service outpatient counseling program as well as providing clinical supervision and outpatient therapy. As a clinician, she provides psychotherapy to individuals, families and groups, specializing in treatment of sexual abuse, grief/loss issues and play therapy. Michelle has also worked as a social worker in the areas of adoption, foster care and corrections. She provides training in the areas of sexual abuse, childhood trauma, in-home family therapy and children's mental health.
Liane Felton, LSCSW, AAPS Funtional Family Therapy Manager Liane is the Program Manager for the Functional Family Therapy and Chemical Dependency programs. She is a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker and Registered Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor. She has more than 15 years of experience providing therapy. Liane earned her Master's degree in Social Work with a Clinical Specialty from the University of Kansas and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Colorado State University. She specializes in treating family relational problems, marital issues, depression and anxiety using Functional Family Therapy (FFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.
Angie Lynn, LSCSW, RPT-S School Based Program Manager Angie is the School Based Program Manager. She is a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker and a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor. She received her Master's degree in Social Work from Washburn University and her Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Wichita State University. In addition to managing the FCS School-Based program, Angie provides clinical supervision and direct clinical services to individuals, families, and groups. Angie specializes in the areas of sexual abuse, problem sexual behaviors, depression, anxiety and play therapy for ages 3 and older. She utilizes EMDR®, Theraplay®, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
John D. Caporale, Ph.D., LCP Clinical Supervisor John is a Clinical Supervisor and a Licensed Clinical Psychotherapist. He has worked for FCS since 1991. He earned his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Walden University and Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Emporia State University. John provides clinical supervision in addition to direct clinical services. He specializes in psychological evaluation and treating problem sexual behavior for ages six and up. Dr. Caporale uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, play therapy, EDMR® and Motivational Interviewing. He is also the author of a therapeutic children's book They call me Chicken: A Story of Courage. He provides faith-based counseling.
Alan Smith, LCMFT Clinical Supervisor Alan is a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist. He has a Master's degree in Family Therapy from Friends University. Alan has experience as an outpatient therapist at a community mental health center and as liaison for Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facilities and the children's state hospital. He serves ages five years to adult and specializes in individuals, couples and families. Alan uses various techniques including play therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Strategic Therapy, Narrative and Solution-focused Therapy. Alan's treatment is personalized to each individual.
Chelsea Armstrong, LSCSW Clinical Supervisor Chelsea is a Clinical Supervisor and Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Brigham Young University with a minor in psychology and her Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Utah. She provides clinical supervision in addition to direct clinical services. Chelsea specializes in treatment of sexual abuse, self-harming behaviors, depression and anxiety using Theraplay ®, Motivational Interviewing and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). She serves ages seven and up. She also provides faith-based counseling.
Brandy Khokhar, LMLP Brandy is a Licensed Master Level Psychologist. She received her Master's in Clinical Psychology and Bachelor's in Clinical Psychology from Emporia State University. Brandy specializes in psychological evaluations for ages six and up, including IQ and personality testing.
Carrie Couture, LSCSW Carrie is a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker. She has a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Kansas and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work and Spanish from Wichita State University. Carrie previously worked as a case management supervisor as well as a therapist at Wyandotte Center for Community Behavioral Health Care. She specializes in treating problem sexual behavior, child and adolescent behavioral problems, ADHD, depression, anxiety and trauma using Solution-Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She also provides faith-based counseling.

She has a Master’s degree in Counseling from Wichita State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Fort Hays State University. Jeanine has experience with inpatient hospital care, case management and aftercare. She serves ages three to adult and specializes in early childhood, trauma, survivors of neglect, physical and sexual abuse and lifespan integration. Kari Vitosh, LPC Kari is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She has a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Richmont Graduate University, Atlanta Georgia and a Bachelor's degree in Comprehensive Organizational Communication from the University of Nebraska. Kari provides individual, family and couples therapy. She specializes in sex therapy, faith based and Biblically based counseling as well as treatment of depression, anxiety, grief/loss and self esteem issues. She utilizes Brief Solution Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
Laurie Moffitt, LMSW, AAPS Laurie is a Licensed Master Social Worker and is credentialed by Addiction And Prevention Services to provide substance abuse treatment. She has Master's and Bachelor's degrees from Newman University. Laurie has life experience relating to many issues that provide her with a unique skill set to working with individuals facing a wide array of presenting problems. She specializes in treatment of anxiety and depression, offers substance abuse treatment and faith based counseling. Laurie uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Strengths Based Therapy in her work with ages 6 and older.

Her background includes work at South Central Mental Health Counseling Center as a case manager and an outpatient clinician. Lisa is currently an outpatient clinician with Youthville Family Consultation Service and serves children age six to adults. She uses cognitive behavioral therapy techniques as well as other therapeutic approaches based on individual need.

Tiffany Huxman, ARNP-BC Tiffany is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She obtained her Master's degree in Nursing (PMH-ARNP) from Wichita State University and her Bachelor's degree in Nursing Bethel College. Tiffany works with ages eight to adult, but her main focus is the treatment of adolescent patients with psychiatric illnesses. Previously she worked for five years at the Prairie View Psychiatric Hospital in Newton, KS.

She has a Master's degree in Counselor Education with a concentration of Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Emporia State University. She has more than 12 years of experience in the child welfare system and more than eight years experience as a therapist in a residential group home. Stacy serves ages six and up, working with various childhood disorders and issues utilizing Theraplay® and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. She also provides faith-based counseling.

Kenneth Johnson, LMFT Kenneth is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. He is based at Coleman, Truesdell and Haysville West Middle Schools, providing therapy for students as well as individual and family therapy for people in the community. He has a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Friends University. Kenneth facilitates weekend seminars for foster parents for the University Of Kansas School Of Social Welfare and served as a facilitator for the "Dynamic Marriage" course, certified by the Family Dynamics Institute.
Erin Rindt, LMFT Erin is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, based at Stanley Elementary School. She received her Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Friends University and her Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood/Family Studies from Emporia State University. Erin has extensive experience working with students in a school setting. She serves ages six and older, specializing in issues of divorce, blended families and anxiety as well as children with social and academic struggles.
Beverly Goering, LSCSW, LCAC Beverly is a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Counseling from Newman University and her Master's Degree in Social Work at Newman University. Beverly is also a Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor. Beverly utilizes the Functional Family Therapy Model as well as Cognitive/Behavioral Techniques in working with juveniles and their families.
Christina Olson, LMSW Christina is a Licensed Master Social Worker. Christina has Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Social Work from Wichita State University. She utilizes the Functional Family Therapy Model and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques to assist juvenile offenders and their families with improving family relationships and reducing the risk of recidivism. Christina has previous experience working within the field of foster care and adoption.
Heather Griggs Heather is a Chemical Dependency Counselor, certified in Addiction and Prevention Services (AAPS) since 2000. She currently provides chemical dependency treatment for youth ages 12 to 18 and adults. She has worked for both state-funded and private agencies, providing inpatient, intensive outpatient and outpatient chemical dependency services. She has experience with case management and other specialized areas. She utilizes Insight Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy in her treatment. She assists youth transitioning into adulthood by providing a multitude of services and collaborating with a variety of referral sources.
