The Newton campus is located approximately 30 miles north of Wichita accessible from I-135. The facility is designed to promote healthy decision making and relationships. Unique to this campus, residents have the opportunity to showcase their art in galleries and sell them in order to benefit the creative arts program in Newton.
The Expressive Arts Center (EAC) is a program that incorporates visual arts, drama, dance, music and play into the youth's daily schedule to provide an outlet to express their emotions and issues. Through the program, residents learn to resolve conflicts and problems, increase self- esteem and self awareness, develop interpersonal skills, manager behaviors, reduce stress and achieve insight.
The center was started on the Newton Campus to give disadvantaged youth a creative place to express their experiences through art. For more information on the Expressive Arts Center click here.

Walk A Mile is a notable EAC program that allows youth to tell their story about life in the "system" through artistic expression. Residents use everything from glitter, paint and pipe cleaners to turn an old shoe into a piece of art. Because of the compelling nature of the artwork and the youths' willingness to share, a traveling exhibit was created in 2007 to allow a larger audience to gain an understanding their experiences.
