Residential Treatment

Youthville is committed to caring for children in an innovative way that encourages growth mentally, physically, and creatively through therapeutic forms of expression. Residential treatment centers are for children ages 6-18 who need time away to address issues and remove barriers in their lives.

This 24-hour, highly structured environment offers therapy, medical services, on-grounds education, psychiatric and chemical dependency services. The therapeutic environment proves a high degree of supervision, while addressing individual needs of the clients, primarily psychiatric and behavioral issues.

Youthville has a campus in Dodge City which offers specialized treatment programs, recreational activities, a cooperative school program and opportunities to attend church and/or utilize on-site chaplaincy services.

The Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT) is incorporated into all aspects of campus life. NMT is a trauma-informed treatment model that is specifically designed to promote healing for victims of childhood maltreatment. It is based upon extensive research into the impact of trauma to a developing brain.

In order to make the transition to a campus easier, each child, along with their case worker, parent or caregiver is assigned a "navigator" to help explain the process and answer any questions along the way.

Child welfare, community providers and parents can utilize Youthville's PRTF.
Major health insurances and Medicaid are accepted.
